A homemaker is a trained person who can come to a client’s home and help the customer to take care of himself or herself, especially in doing the daily activities. Homemakers are not nurses, but they are supervised by a qualified home care agency and monitor the daily living needs of each individual client. This program is also for clients who are isolated or their caregiver is experiencing burden. Our services can be used in combination with other Home and Community-Based Services. A homemaker provides care at client’s home, as an alternative to nursing home. That way, the clients can remain in their own homes.
