We encourage our clients to stay active in their day-to-day care, and it’s important to us that you have a say in the care you receive. That’s what makes Angel Heart Home Care LLC one of the best home care agencies. We provide a wide range of services that fall into three categories: Homemaker Services, Personal Care Provider Services, and Relative Personal Care Provider Services. What are these? Here’s a description of each.
A homemaker is a trained person who can come to a client’s home and help the customer to take care of himself or herself, especially in doing daily activities. Homemakers are not nurses, but they are supervised by a qualified home care agency and they monitor the daily living needs of each individual client. This program is also for clients who are isolated or their caregiver is experiencing burden. Our services can be used in combination with other Home and Community-Based Services. A homemaker provides care at client’s home as an alternative to nursing home. That way, the clients can remain in their own homes.
Personal Care Provider (PCP)
Personal Care Providers are individuals prepared to assist in the care of the clients – who have developmental or physical disabilities, are elderly, and need assistance with day-to-day tasks – in their own homes. PCPs are not nurses, but they are also supervised by a qualified home care agency. This program is also for clients who are isolated or their caregiver is experiencing burden. Our services can be used in combination with other Home and Community-Based Services.
Relative Personal Care Provider (RPCP)
Relative PCPs are similar to Personal Care Providers or PCPs in that they perform some of the same tasks in assisting you with daily activities. However, these workers are members of your own family who are compensated in assisting you. They are not nurses, and the services they provide are limited because they are allowed only to be compensated for up to an hour and fifteen minutes per day.
Companion care is primarily emotional support and companionship for elderly and disabled persons who are generally healthy or who want to remain independent at home. This service is also provided as relief from regular at-home care specialists and family members who may need assistance in daily care and supervision.
*Please note, this is a self-pay service.
